Job Summary
CNC Programmer responsible for planning machining processes, generating machine programs, and improving processes in a manufacturing environment. Requires proficiency in CAD/CAM software, communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
Required Qualifications
- Approachable with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and demanding situations.
- Capable of developing and programming complex Lathe processes including live tooling.
- Capable of selecting, evaluating, and specifying tooling for production machining.
- Capable of selecting or designing work-holding and fixturing.
- Well versed in CAD/CAM, Esprit preferred but open to other software.
- Solid understanding of GD&T and Metrology practices.
- Focused on continuous improvement in a Lean/Six-Sigma environment.
- Encourages a Team approach to projects.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with implementing and managing projects at group or shop levels.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing and DMAIC methodology.
- Process Estimation and Return on Investment analysis.
- Experience with gear and shaft manufacturing.
- Experience with robotics and production automation.
