Job Summary
CNC Programmer on day shift responsible for assisting in process setup, prove out and maintaining programs for CNC mills, grinders, lathes, and wire EDM machines across Cincinnati and Kentucky facilities. Supports the CNC Programming Manager with developing, writing, and implementing programming-related procedures; performs machine setup, proves out processes, troubleshooting, training operators, and coordinating with Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Production Supervisors. Requires NX CAM programming experience, ability to read G Code and Macro Variables, and strong machining fundamentals; willing to travel and work overtime; ITAR and US Person documentation required; safety-sensitive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 plus years’ experience in CNC machining
- Minimum of 5 plus years’ experience in NX CAM CNC Programming
- Must be able to read G Code and Macro Variable programs
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals and practices
- Previous experience leading or assisting in production and/or quality projects
- Proficient at machine setup procedures
- Willingness to work hands-on with production associates on the production floor, including setup, programming, processing and troubleshooting
- Ability to process and communicate information using Microsoft Office software tools
- Ability to lead teams or projects, achieving desired results on schedule
- Must be able to comprehend and communicate information to others both verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and management teams in a concise manner
- Must be able to travel to attend job-specific training and seminars
- Must have the ability and desire to work overtime, including weekends
- Ability to multi-task
- High School Diploma or Equivalent- documentation required
- Must meet ITAR definition of US Person- documentation required
