Job Summary
5 Axis CNC Programmer responsible for programming, setup and operation of CNC milling machines to produce parts; duties include analyzing drawings and CAD models, creating setup sheets, assisting with machine setup and operation during peak times, conducting test runs, estimating programming times and materials, collaborating with engineering, providing feedback on manufacturability and tooling, and identifying process improvements for production efficiency in aerospace manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Certification and/or Coursework in CNC Machining - Preferred
- Certification and/or Coursework in CNC Programming - Preferred
- Ten (10) + years of CNC Programming (milling; 3,4 and 5 axis)
- Three (3) years of CNC Programming using NX (milling; 3,4 and 5 axis)
- Physical requirements as described (endurance for long periods, lifting, travel <10%)
