Job Summary
CAM programming for 5-axis VMC and mill-turn lathe work (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or HSMWorks); optimize toolpaths for stainless and aluminum semiconductor-grade parts (±0.001"); develop probing routines for in-process inspection; manage tool library, tool-life tracking, and offsets at the Zoller presetter; implement pallet-pool lights-out programs for the UMC fleet; provide DFM feedback to design team to improve cycle time; produce process documentation that survives operator turnover; 4+ years CNC programming with 2+ years on 5-axis; Haas/Fanuc/Siemens controls; GD&T reading; track record of reducing cycle time.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years CNC programming
- 2+ years on 5-axis
- Strong Mastercam, Fusion 360, or HSMWorks fluency
- Haas control native (or comparable Fanuc/Siemens)
- GD&T fluency, comfortable reading drawings to spec
- Documented track record of taking specific part families from high cycle time to low
