Job Summary
Assist the CNC Programmer in planning numerical control programs, analyzing drawings to determine dimensions and cuts, and learning GCODE/ELUCAD to create CNC code. Design simple 3D fixtures in SolidWorks CAD to support plastic printing of tooling fixtures, produce fixtures with 3D printers, and troubleshoot printers. Communicate with staff and customers, prepare reports, and complete tasks timely in a full-time manufacturing setting at Quaker. No travel required; position emphasizes on-site collaboration and adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience with Quaker as a CNC Operator
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints & engineering drawings
- Proficient with hand tools and machinery
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD – Computer-Aided Design software
- Ability to interpret various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
