Job Summary
Develop, test, and optimize CNC machining programs for milling operations to manufacture precision aerospace components. Program custom components and tooling, develop machining strategies, and set up CNC milling machines during production. Troubleshoot and validate programs on equipment, modify code for engineering changes, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times. Maintain programming documentation and ensure all outputs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree preferred (Engineering or Manufacturing Technology)
- Minimum 5 years of CNC Programming experience
- Strong experience programming CNC milling machines
- Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desired Qualifications
- CATIA experience
- Epicor ERP experience
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience with complex precision-machined components
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
