Job Summary
Develop and create manufacturing programs for CNC machines, including new part development and ECN-related program changes. Investigate and implement tool requirements with tool designers, manufacturing engineers, and operators while developing tool-sheet and set-up sheets. Test tooling, fixtures, and processes to make improvement recommendations and participate in capital equipment justification projects. Read blueprints accurately and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment using CAM software like EDGECAM. Work in a manufacturing cell with moderate noise levels, wearing specific PPE, while adhering to SPX FLOW's quality standards and continuous improvement values.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to make tooling improvement recommendations
- Familiarity with manual and CNC controls
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with a commitment to continuously learn and improve skills
- 2-5 years of experience programming CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Experience programming utilizing CAM software
- Stainless steel machining experience
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Specific PPE is required within the cell
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ideally including metal cutting equipment
- Experience with EDGECAM software is a plus
- Experience with EDGECAM software is a plus
