CNC Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for CNC Milling, Turning, and Swiss Machining work centers using Epicor ERP. Balance customer demand against machine capacity, tooling, and material constraints while adjusting plans in real-time to mitigate equipment breakdowns or shortages. Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure raw materials and components are available, monitor Work-in-Progress and finished goods inventory levels, and investigate data discrepancies. Analyze historical data to identify bottlenecks, recommend process improvements, and generate reports on schedule attainment and capacity utilization for management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling
- Experience in a high-mix, low-volume job shop environment
- Experience in the precision metal machining industry
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Epicor ERP for scheduling
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Epicor ERP for Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Epicor ERP for capacity planning
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Epicor ERP for work order management
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes (Milling, Turning, Swiss)
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, including forecasting
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, including inventory control
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, including logistics
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
