Job Summary
Monitor and improve efficiency across every CNC station, driving down run times on milling and turning work while clearing bottlenecks before they stall delivery timelines. Lead process improvements that stick station by station, enforce safety standards, and coach machinists on performance, attendance, and policies. Train and cross-train operators on large-format equipment, interview candidates, and make personnel decisions to build a stronger crew. Own staffing, scheduling, and throughput for the 2nd shift from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 8+ years of manufacturing experience, especially CNC machining
- 4+ years supervising or leading teams
Desired Qualifications
- Additional technical training in machining
- Experience improving throughput on CNC equipment
- Lean or continuous improvement background
- Track record training and developing machinists
- High-mix, low-volume production experience
