Job Summary
CNC Press Brake Operator needed to set up and operate CNC press brake equipment to form metal components per engineering specifications and production requirements. Responsibilities include following work orders and blueprints, performing proper machine start-up/shutdown, loading and operating press brake/punch press, monitoring part quality by evaluating dimensions and defects, using grinders/abrasives for surface finish, safely handling material with cranes/positioners/magnets/hooks, and using fixtures and templates to ensure accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, assist with additional production tasks, document work and maintenance in English, and participate in ongoing team efforts toward safety and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Read and interpret basic drawings and work instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely
- Ability to successfully complete forming and general shop assessments within the first week of employment
- Read and write in English to complete operational documentation and preventive maintenance requirements
