Job Summary
As a CNC Operator at United Performance Metal's Advanced Solutions Center, you will closely work with customer manufacturing specifications to ensure accurate machine programming. You will set up, troubleshoot, and operate various machines such as surface grinders and mills while examining and measuring completed units for defects. You must possess strong problem-solving abilities and have at least 2 years of experience with manual or automated tools, proficiency in measuring equipment, and expertise in blueprint interpretation.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools, and machines
- Ability to proficiently set up and use measuring equipment including CMM, CAD-CAM, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Calipers, Profilometers
- Expert in reading and interpreting blueprints and design sketches
- Ability to create and maintain updated work processes related to machining
