CNC Operator Turning - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Operate CNC machines safely to produce quality products while meeting production expectations, documenting work on in-process inspection plans and the ERP system for traceability. Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly adhere to FOD prevention protocols, reporting any incidents to the department manager. Communicate concerns regarding production, safety, or quality to the supervisor and utilize calibrated measuring tools like micrometers and calipers to ensure product integrity. When work is limited, assist with deburring, assembly, cleaning, shipping, and receiving. Work the 2nd shift with an 8% differential, applying basic skills in reading drawings and using inspection gages.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to properly read and interpret drawings, work instructions and in-process inspection plans
- Ability to use basic measuring tools (Micrometer, Caliper, Thread Gages, Pin Gages, Bore Gages, Indicators)
- At least 1-year experience working on CNC machines
- Ability to use basic measuring tools (Caliper, Micrometer)
- Only use calibrated measuring equipment whether personal or company supplied
- Handle machines, parts, and inspection equipment in a manner that will not cause damage or compromise product integrity
- Aware of procedures, quality policies, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety, and ethics
- 8% shift differential for working 2nd shift
