Job Summary
Join the Dixon Group as a CNC Operator Trainee, where you’ll participate in hands-on training to learn CNC machine setup and operation. You will produce metal components according to engineering specifications, learn to identify and correct basic machining issues, and gain familiarity with Dixon’s product lines and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude, a high school diploma, and a strong work ethic. The role provides an opportunity for professional development within a safety-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (training provided if needed)
- Comfort using hand tools and applying basic shop math
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of your shift
- Positive attitude and commitment to working safely
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training or related coursework preferred
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
