Job Summary
Read, understand, and independently use Job Travelers, measured drawings, cut sheets, and first article inspection documentation to set up and operate a Komo CNC Fanuc-controlled router. Perform machine set-ups, job changes, and production runs while conducting first article and in-process inspections to ensure accuracy. Maintain certification in measurement practices, use precision tools, and safely handle completed parts with proper pallet labeling. Perform routine maintenance, maintain department cleanliness, and adhere to all safety policies by reporting incidents immediately. Work the first shift Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Plymouth, MN facility.
Required Qualifications
- Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Held the position of Apprentice Machinist at ADA or within the same industry
- A general understanding of Fanuc-Controlled Machinery and Router CIM programming
- A general understanding of ADA machining equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid math and problem-solving skills
- Safety and Hazardous Material training
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
- Frequently required to move inside the facility
- Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
