Job Summary
Set up and run automated threading CNC machines while performing all necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality parts. Read and understand blueprints, then use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tool preseters to verify dimensions. Operate thread plug gages and bore gages during production to identify defective threads or parts, applying basic machine shop mathematical knowledge. This role requires 2+ years of experience, which can be supplemented by trade school training. Based in Catasauqua, the position involves full machine shop duties within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years of exp (This can be supplemented by a trade school exp)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as Venier calipers, Micrometers, Depth Micromets, Tool Presetter & Scales
- Required to use and be able to read thread plug gages and bore gages while running the machine and identify defective threads or parts
- Basic Machine Shop mathematical knowledge
