Job Summary
Operate CNC mills, lathes, or other CNC equipment safely and efficiently, loading and unloading materials, tooling, and fixtures. Read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings; verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Perform routine machine adjustments, tool changes, and monitor performance to identify quality or production issues. Inspect finished parts against customer specifications while maintaining a clean work area and following safety procedures. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules. Requires minimum 2 years of CNC experience, blueprint interpretation skills, and mechanical aptitude. Full-time, 1st shift (Monday–Friday) with competitive pay based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with both CNC mills and lathes
- Familiarity with G-code and basic program edits
- Experience working with steel, aluminum, or other fabricated metal components
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
