Job Summary
Operate and maintain CNC lathes and milling machines while verifying finished parts meet dimensional specifications. Identify and report non-conforming parts, read engineering drawings, and ensure machine centers, tooling, and measuring equipment remain in proper working condition. Fit and assemble machined components using hand and power tools, accurately complete work package documentation for traceability, and perform routine daily inspections and preventative maintenance. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies while supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Mon-Fri shifts include four 10-hour day/evening rotations and weekend options of three 12-hour shifts. Minimum two years of CNC experience required with blueprint reading skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of CNC machining experience
- Post-secondary education in machining or a related trade
