Job Summary
CNC 3 Axis Setter/Operator responsible for editing, setting and operating 3-axis CNC machines to produce components that meet technical drawings, tolerances and quality standards. Select materials, tools and machining strategies, perform first-off and final checks to ensure accuracy, interpret CAD drawings and engineering information to deliver precise results, and conduct daily/weekly machine checks while maintaining equipment and reporting issues to the CNC Lead Operator or Production Supervisor. The role emphasizes reliability, hands-on participation in a team, proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Experience programming (editing) 3 axis CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
- Experience setting up and operating 3 axis CNC machinery
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and machining specifications
- High attention to detail with a strong understanding of precision measurement and machining processes
