Job Summary
Experienced CNC Operator responsible for machine operation, setup, and production for multiple valve product lines; duties include loading/unloading parts, selecting proper tooling/fixtures, inspecting tools and work, verifying machine settings with micrometer/dial caliper, and posting CNC program edits to optimize performance, with emphasis on continuous improvement and collaboration with a CNC Programmer/lead.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Knowledge of AS400 system
- Knowledge of CNC Turning/Mill Machine
- Capable of handling 50 lb. to 200 lb. valve bodies with assistance of hand trucks, lifts, conveyors, and hoists
- Ability to stand for long periods up to eight or more hours
- Ability to work weekends and overtime when scheduled
