Job Summary
Operate all robots and CNC milling machines in coordination with programmers, loading, calibrating, and inspecting plugs to ensure quality compliance. Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment and robotic systems while managing inventory, procurement, and shipment inspections. Enforce OSHA safety protocols, perform equipment checks, and implement process improvements through collaboration with engineering and production teams. Requires 5+ years in manufacturing with CNC experience, ability to read blueprints, and physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs in a non-climate-controlled environment. 10% travel required for off-site maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a manufacturing/industrial setting, with CNC machine experience
- Knowledge of FRP, composites, robotics, and automated production systems
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and facility management
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and safety regulations
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and plant health/safety standards
- Ability to operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment
- Experience with forklifts, hoists, and material handling equipment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and teamwork
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Non-climate-controlled environment (exposure to heat, cold, and airborne particles)
- Extended periods of standing, bending, and repetitive motions
- Lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing in/out of machinery as required
- Ability to wear PPE, including respirators, gloves, and safety glasses
- 10% travel required for off-site maintenance or corporate needs
