Job Summary
Operate CNC machines to produce precision-machined aluminum components to customer specifications, including loading and unloading parts, making minor adjustments, and inspecting output using gauges, calipers, and micrometers. Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure safety and quality by following work instructions, prints, and procedures while communicating effectively with teammates, leads, and supervisors. Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted to keep production moving smoothly. This entry-level role offers technical training in CNC operation, opportunities to advance within the machine shop team, and support for building valuable manufacturing skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to function as a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to use basic shop tools, lifting devices and measuring devices
- Ability to use basic shop math
- Ability to read and understand work instructions written in English
- Ability to hear and distinguish between normal and abnormal noises
- Hand dexterity to manipulate small gauges, knobs and controls
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8 – 10 hours)
- Ability to repeatedly and frequently lift up to 50lbs unassisted
