CNC Operator II

Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC machines (vertical and horizontal mills) and inspect finished quartz parts to ensure adherence to customer specifications. Read and follow detailed work instructions, process procedures, and drawings; calibrate and adjust equipment with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, comparators) to maintain quality. Perform detail work such as waxing, dewaxing, and chamfering; maintain and troubleshoot equipment; monitor production processes for quality and productivity; maintain a safe, organized work area. Located in Portland, OR, with responsibilities centered on producing quartz parts per blueprints and job orders.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Experience reading and following detailed work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to see small defects
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Experience using precision measurement equipment
- Knowledge of Machine Mathematics
