Job Summary
CNC Operator II operates CNC machines per released programs, loads parts and verifies fixtures and tooling prior to run, and performs dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Maintains production pace to meet output targets, ensures documentation, traceability, and part labeling accuracy, and supports basic machine maintenance while following safety and quality standards. Works closely with engineers, production technicians, and operations teams to support multiple programs and value streams. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of CNC operation experience; ability to read drawings and tolerances; able to work independently. Location: San Luis Obispo, CA. Night and weekend shifts. Compensation: $23.00–$26.00 per hour with shift differential; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k with match, PTO, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- 1–3 years CNC operation experience
- Ability to read basic drawings and tolerances
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
