Job Summary
CNC Operator II in New Albany, IN responsible for setting up and operating Mazak mills, Mikino sinkers, Fanuc Robocut wire, and Okuma/Hwacheon lathes, with proficiency in manual machines. Read and interpret technical drawings, program and adjust G-code, perform routine maintenance, and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part quality. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve machining issues, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Shift is 3rd (Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7:30am) with training days listed prior to start.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivelent
- AS in machining/CNC preferred
- 5+ years experience operating CNC machines (metal machining preferred)
