Job Summary
CNC Operator I responsible for fabricating high-precision machined components by operating CNC machines (saws, CNC lathes, gun drill, and CNC mills). Duties include loading/unloading, taking measurements, and making routine dimensional adjustments according to engineering drawings and operator instructions, while strictly following the Quality System and Safety Principles. Prepare documentation such as Product Acceptance Records and Nonconforming Material Reports, assist in on-the-job training, and participate in Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery improvements. Must adhere to safe handling and disposal of materials (hazardous and non-hazardous).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18 Years or older
- Ability to read and understand Safety Rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to operate CNC equipment.
- Ability to use common and power tools.
- Ability to use calibrated test and measuring equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with work groups.
- Ability to apply problem solving techniques to troubleshoot and implement corrective action.
