Job Summary
Review work orders to determine machining operations and set up and operate machine tools for repetitive tasks like milling, drilling, and boring. Load and position material, select proper tooling and programs, and check machined part dimensions using micrometers and calipers. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, maintain and clean the workspace, and ensure quality standards are met while following shop safety standards. Properly label and organize parts to ensure production flow and communicate with management and coworkers to achieve goals. The role requires vocational training in machining, at least three years of related experience, and proficiency with 3-axis vertical CNC mills and measuring instruments. Fluency in French is essential, with English as an asset. This position is hourly and involves overtime during busy seasons.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational training in machining
- Minimum of three years of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of 3 axis vertical CNC mills
- Proficiency using calipers, micrometers and measuring instruments to examine parts adequately
- Excellent math and computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds

Desired Qualifications
