Job Summary
CNC Operator responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC machine, ensuring aerospace quality and safety standards, and maintaining paperwork. Responsibilities include loading machine programs, setting up tools and materials, handling G & M codes, inspecting parts, applying stabilizing aids, calculating tolerances, interpreting blueprints, and performing related documentation. Requires high school or equivalent, ability to work evenings/weekends, lifting up to 50 pounds, and willingness to undergo pre-employment screening; ITAR-regulated facility with U.S. person requirement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to accuracy and precision
- Knowledge of industry safety standards
- Previous forklift certification and experience a plus
- Open availability, including weekends
- Must agree to pre-employment screenings
- Able to interpret blueprints
- Understanding of industry safety standards
- Understanding of basic mathematics and use of standard measuring tools
- Ability to work well with others and take direction
- Must be self-motivated and willing to take initiative
- Must be able to work nights and weekends (per company needs)
