Job Summary
Operate Feeder/CNC machines and machine small to medium-sized components from various metals for the Aerospace industry. Read and interpret engineering drawings while using manual measuring equipment to self-inspect your own work. Perform multiple set-ups daily and demonstrate experience within a machining role. This permanent position in Leicester offers a double days or night shift schedule with an hourly rate between £15 and £17. Candidates must be UK residents; visa sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience within a machining role
- Able to set & operate machinery
- Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day
- Confidence in performing self-inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Desired Qualifications
- Confidence in performing self-inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment is advantageous
