Job Summary
CNC Operator needed in Brookings, SD. Responsibilities include operating specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products; maintaining and monitoring machines; basic setup and breakdown; adhering to safety rules; verifying dimensions and product specifications; completing documentation; maintaining clean work areas; and acting in alignment with company core values. May perform additional duties depending on location and product line. Requires reading shop orders/blueprints and basic math; proficiency with tape measures and hand tools; forklift/crane/pallet jack operation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a high school diploma and up to 2 years of experience
- Read and understand shop orders and blueprints, safety rules, standard work instructions written in English.
- Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to use hand tools in a safe and proper manner.
- Based on department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.
