Job Summary
Review routing and set up specifications to determine machining sequences and dimensions. Interpret blueprints and specifications to select fixtures, part holders, and tooling for CNC machines. Adjust machine speeds, feeds, and tooling according to specs while confirming finished work conformance using micrometers, calipers, and Go/No Go tools. Identify workmanship defects and initiate program changes when required. Operate CNC machines with limited supervision, troubleshooting simple problems and ensuring production requirements are met. Required Qualifications
- CNC Machine Operator: 1+ year
- Ability to set up CNC Machine and run the job with limited supervision
- Basic math and computing knowledge
- Familiar with general safety procedures
- Ability to meet production requirements as specified
- Knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Read blueprints
- Troubleshoot simple problems associated with machines
