Job Summary
CNC Operator (2nd shift) based in Batesburg, SC, responsible for setup, autonomous maintenance and operation of CNC machinery (lathes, milling, etc.) to meet engineering changes and manufacturing specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and work orders; load and assess tool quality; troubleshoot machine issues; perform inspections with measuring tools and gauges to ensure parts meet quality standards. Maintain organization per 5S, support assembly and painting as needed, and adhere to safety and quality guidelines. Requires ability to obtain Powered Industrial Trucks certification; capable of lifting and standing for extended periods. Second shift hours: 4:00pm–2:30am, Monday–Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Associate CNC Operator or similar experience
- Experience operating overhead and jib cranes
- Understanding the use of CAD/CAM software in CNC operations
- Familiarity with Metrology tools (e.g. hardness and stress testing)
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SAP Enterprise Software
