Job Summary
Operate CNC turning and milling machines to load/unload raw materials and finished parts, monitor production cycles for alarms or defects, perform basic tool offsets under supervision, deburr and prepare parts, and conduct basic visual and dimensional checks using calipers and micrometers. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, communicate machine status and quality concerns to Machinists and Supervisors, assist with material handling and movement of work-in-process, and support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor. This is a 2nd shift role requiring foundational manufacturing experience and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6–12 months of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred
- Basic familiarity with CNC machines and shop floor operations
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and routers
- Basic ability to use hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork
