Job Summary
Lead CNC milling operations on 1st shift, setting up, programming, and proving out CNC V/H milling processes; mentor and lead a team of CNC Milling Machinists; ensure dimensional accuracy through GD&T and inspection using micrometers and calipers; drive department improvements and operator upskilling in a clean, safety-focused environment; collaborate on tooling and process improvements for aerospace, defense, automotive, and related industries.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers
- Strong programming skills
- Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings including GDT
- Proficient in calculating dimensions and tolerances using micrometers and calipers
- Leadership and mentorship mindset
