Job Summary
Experienced CNC Milling Machinist needed to set up and operate CNC milling machines for precision firearm components. Responsibilities include loading and verifying programs, tooling, and fixtures; performing complete machine setups; conducting first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools; identifying and correcting quality issues; troubleshooting tooling, fixturing, and machine performance; collaborating with Engineering and Quality to improve processes and increase efficiency; and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop. Must read blueprints and GD&T, have strong problem-solving skills, and work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Requires background check and legal eligibility to possess firearms where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of CNC milling setup and operation experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
