CNC Milling Machinist, 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Operate vertical and horizontal multi-axis milling machinery to produce precision aerospace components using aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and nickel alloys. Read operation sheets, interpret machining program language, and utilize manual inspection equipment like micrometers and dial bores to ensure tight tolerances. Document performance issues to maintain shift continuity and decrease downtime while participating in process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing tools. Maintain clean work areas and equipment, adhering to all safety policies and standard work procedures. Requires US citizenship, high school diploma, and minimum five years of machining experience with aerospace exposure.
Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 Years of Machining Experience
- Aerospace experience required
- Ability to work with tight tolerances
- Strong industrial math skills, required
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to use and setup various measuring devices
- Ability to read & interpret machining program language
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school graduate in machining (desired)
- Lean basic knowledge i.e. 5S, setup reduction, TPM
