Job Summary
Operate and set up CNC milling machines, using programs generated by engineering; inspect parts per print and in-process docs; prepare tooling, enter offsets, and prove out machine; install jaws/tools, run first article and adjust offsets as needed; ensure proper hand-offs at shift changes and when transferring setups; maintain clean, organized workspace via 5-S; train operators as needed to sustain productive operation of MCM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years' experience operating CNC milling machines
- Working knowledge of micrometers, gauging, and comparator
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings/readings
