Job Summary

Develop CNC programs for 3-axis to 5-axis milling machines, selecting appropriate cutting tools, holders, and workholding devices. Perform simulations and collision detection to validate programs, then optimize tool paths and machining parameters for efficiency and quality. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and machinists to troubleshoot issues, while creating and maintaining detailed setup sheets and tooling lists. Proficiency in CAM software like Mastercam or Fusion 360, along with strong G-code and M-code knowledge, is required. Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for generating toolpaths

  • Experience with various tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies for different materials
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize programs for efficiency, tool life, and surface finish
