Job Summary
Set up and run Haas CNC mills, writing, editing, and adjusting programs at the machine control. Select correct tooling and workholding, set offsets, and adjust speeds and feeds to produce parts within tight tolerances of .001". Measure conformance using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators, then verify dimensions after changes. Identify and correct machining problems independently in our high-mix, low-volume job-shop environment. Work 7:00 am to 3:30 pm in the first shift with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching, health insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Previous CNC mill machining experience sufficient to perform the position independently
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and surface-finish requirements
- Proficiency with common precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges
- Working knowledge of practical machining math

- Haas CNC mills and controls, including 3 and 4 axis
- High-mix, low-volume or job-shop machining
- GD&T knowledge and experience
- Renishaw probing systems
