CNC Mill Machinist

Job Summary
Operate and set up horizontal and vertical CNC mills, read technical drawings to prepare setups, and run production jobs while ensuring quality through in-process checks. Train new employees on machine operation and setup procedures; perform routine machine maintenance; maintain a clean, safe work area; and collaborate with office and shop personnel. First shift (6:00 AM–4:30 PM) and second shift (4:00 PM–2:30 AM) are available, with potential overtime. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds; Makino FMC pallet system experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing
- read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints
- read CNC programs at the machine
- ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- willingness to work overtime
- Makino FMC pallet system experience a plus
