Job Summary
Operate CNC mills and lathes to fabricate precision parts by interpreting drawings, executing setups, and conducting basic programming. Independently troubleshoot machine controls and part programs while performing secondary operations such as drilling, tapping, and deburring. Fabricate components strictly according to engineering specifications and complete all inspection reports and paperwork accurately. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while meeting standard job time requirements. Employees receive on-the-job training and must be certified to operate a forklift. This role involves an 8–10-hour day with physical demands including lifting 50 lbs. and standing for the entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in understanding and following written and verbal instructions in English
- Two years of post-secondary education focused on machine tool technology or equivalent hands-on experience in CNC machining
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more repeatedly and frequently throughout the shift (8–10-hour day)
- Must be able to stand for the entire duration of the shift
- Must supply own tools (Lockable toolbox, Digital caliper, 12" adjustable wrench, Ball-end Allen wrench set, 0–1" micrometer, Dead blow hammer, Screwdriver set, Socket set, Standard wrenches, Vise grip pliers)
