Job Summary
Responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining and process engineering
- Extensive hands-on experience with CNC machine programming, setup and operation
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks CAD, Esprit CAM, NX CAM, or equivalent)
- In-depth knowledge of multi-axis CNC machining
- Strong understanding of GD&T (ASNI Y14.5) and blueprint reading
- Extensive knowledge and use of common metrology & measurement systems
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Experience with PC-DMIS CMM programming and/or automation engineering
- Experience in firearms manufacturing
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (preferably Epicor) for production planning
- Certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt, AS9100, or ISO 9001 experience
