Job Summary
Deliver high-end molds and prototype parts on fast timelines by managing the full process from CAM programming to setup and machining. Collaborate with engineering to provide manufacturing feedback, optimize designs for production, and co-own materials and tooling operations including capacity planning and acquisition. Perform tooling selection, setup, and optimization for composites and metals while maintaining and calibrating shop equipment. Develop and refine CAM templates and fixturing methods to support scalable production. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and communicate project timelines and setbacks clearly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Or Equivalent
- 2–4+ years of CNC machining experience with preference for a mold making, high-precision, or 3D surfacing background
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Onshape, Autodesk Fusion CAM, Mastercam, or equivalent)
- Experience with CNC vertical machines and CNC lathes
- Ability to read and interpret CAD/CAM models, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- U.S. Person status pursuant to EAR and ITAR definitions
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
