Job Summary
CNC Maintenance Technician role focusing on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery and other manufacturing equipment; responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; performing routine preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime; troubleshooting CNC control systems (Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma); reading schematics and manuals to identify faults; responding to maintenance tickets and emergencies; conducting inspections and calibrations to maintain accuracy; maintaining CMMS records; assisting in installation, commissioning, and special project setups; ensuring safety compliance and adherence to company safety programs.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance or industrial maintenance
- strong knowledge of CNC machinery including lathes, mills, and grinders
- familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking
- Proficiency in electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting
- ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
- valid driver''s license and willingness to drive to vendor locations to pick up tools or parts offsite
- experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environment
- knowledge of lean manufacturing and TPM principles
- technical degree, certification, or equivalent work experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance
