Job Summary

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machine tools and related manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-system problems, including diagnosing faults using alarms, error codes, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Conduct scheduled maintenance, document work in the company system, and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Assist with machine setup, alignment, and process improvements while maintaining an organized inventory of parts and tools. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and work with operators and engineering to identify recurring issues and improve machine reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience maintaining CNC machine tools or similar manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to use electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment systematically and identify the root cause of failures.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with Production, Engineering, and other Maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle tools, equipment, and machine components as required.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical degree, certificate, or formal training in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience maintaining CNC mills, lathes, grinders, or other precision machine tools.
  • Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting servo motors, drives, and motion-control systems.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
  • Experience with machine tool builders such as Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Mori Seiki, Makino, or similar manufacturers.
  • Experience working in an aerospace or other precision-manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
