CNC Machinist

Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce precise parts based on engineering drawings, while writing or editing G-code programs to control operations. Install tools and fixtures, calibrate equipment, and perform routine maintenance including cleaning and lubrication. Inspect finished products using micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications, and diagnose machine issues by adjusting settings or replacing components. Interpret blueprints and sketches to determine dimensions and machining processes, then select and load raw materials into the machine. Maintain accurate records of production runs and quality issues, collaborating with engineers and supervisors to meet targets. Requires minimum two years of CNC experience and certification is preferred. Shift work including nights and weekends may be required in this manufacturing environment.
