CNC Machinist - Weekend Shift

Job Summary
CNC Machinist on the weekend shift (Friday-Sunday, 5am-5:30pm) at Magnum Venus Products. Read blueprints to ensure correct sizing, set up CNC machines with tools/fixtures and program parameters, make minor programming adjustments with help from a programmer/engineer, optimize toolpaths and speeds, operate machines to produce parts, monitor operations for quality, update job data in manufacturing software, and inspect finished parts using precision gauging tools. Maintain records of production and maintenance, perform routine machine maintenance, and comply with safety protocols. Requires high school/GED, advanced CNC knowledge, ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical aptitude, use of precision gauges/tools, understanding of tolerances, basic math/computing skills, multi-tasking, and 3-5 years of related manufacturing experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of CNC machining
- Ability to interpret blueprints and instructional drawings.
- Mechanical skills/aptitude and ability to use precision gages/tools.
- Comprehension of machine tolerance.
- Basic math and computer skills required.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain excellent attention to detail.
- 3-5 years of related manufacturing experience.
