Job Summary
CNC Machinist role under direct supervision, setting up and operating a range of machine tools to machine parts per blueprints/specifications. Responsibilities include interpreting specifications, laying out stock, operating lathes/milling/shaper/grinder, verifying conformance with measuring instruments, documenting work activity and time, adhering to ISO processes, and following safety procedures. Requires access to basic computer tools and the ability to read blueprints; 2 years’ experience and familiarity with G-code and fixturing recommended. 1st and 2nd shift options with a $1,500 sign-on bonus after 30 days and competitive hourly pay with full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Trade or Technical Certification desired
- 2 years’ experience in a like environment highly desired
- Familiarity with G-code and other programming languages
- Reading blueprints
- Familiarity with measuring devices such as micrometer, caliper, and height gauge
