CNC Machinist Vertical Mills - Second Shift

Job Summary
Set-up and operate CNC Vertical Mills while managing multiple machines simultaneously. Make necessary machine adjustments and maintain excellent quality and high efficiency. Utilize precision measuring instruments like comparators and calipers to inspect parts against close tolerance requirements. Comply with all safety regulations, maintain housekeeping, and follow 5S lean manufacturing principles and ISO standards. Support quality and compliance by adhering to procedures, work instructions, and forms within the Quality System. Work the second shift from Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to Midnight, with a $1.50 shift premium. Requires at least three to five years of CNC Milling/Lathing experience, strong math skills, and the ability to read blueprints.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to troubleshoot issues
- High Attention to detail
- Able to work in an environment of oil, coolant, and chips
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of CNC Milling/Lathing operational experience - highly preferred
- Strong math background, preferably in machine/shop math
- Technical degree - emphasis on machining/CNC/Mills/Lathes
