Job Summary
The CNC Machinist (Tool Room) is responsible for the setup and operation of CNC and/or manual machines. Responsibilities include machining and testing parts to engineering standards, maintaining documentation, inspecting parts, and performing routine maintenance of machines. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have a good understanding of blueprints and inspection techniques. A High School diploma and at least 2 years of machining experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of machining experience
- Reads, understands and correctly interprets blueprints, planning and manufacturing specifications
- Demonstrated working knowledge of machining and/or testing related mathematical concepts
- Basic knowledge of inspection requirements and techniques
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed
