Job Summary
Set up and machine precision parts to specifications using lathes, milling machines, drills, and bridge ports while maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive manner. Perform preventive maintenance through 6-S activities and conduct pre-startup inspections incorporating health and safety awareness. Measure and examine completed parts using precision devices to verify conformance, reading and interpreting drawings to ensure accuracy. Monitor machining processes to recognize and react to irregularities, adhering strictly to company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of CNC machining experience
- Ability to perform machinists functions to a high level of quality
- Ability to monitor machining process and recognize irregularities and react accordingly
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Basic Math skills
- Basic understanding of cutting tools and their purpose
- Possess good communication skills
- Able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, lift 40 pounds and stand on feet for an extended period of time
